Atelier Creativi 2017: SmartMedia products for schools. On January 27, MIUR (the Italian Ministry of Education) published the list of winning projects for the Atelier Creativi grant announced last year under the National Digital School Plan (#PNSD).
What are Atelier Creativi? They are new lab spaces for first-cycle schools (primary and lower-secondary) designed to stimulate hands-on skills, craftsmanship and creativity, bringing back to school the appeal of the craftsman, the “maker” and the experimenter. A place where play, critical media use and design thinking go hand in hand with new digital technologies, exploring the worlds of Coding, Robotics and 3D printing. SmartMedia offers some of the technology products to help create a dynamic, comfortable Creative Atelier for playing, experimenting and learning.
